Ethics Problems at Sprint?
We are unfortunately aware of the harm that Sprint is seeking to inflict on our own community, but is this type of behavior part of a bigger problem of corporate greed and malfeasance? A recent shake-up at Sprint resulted in the ouster of William T. Esrey from his position as chief executive and chairman. Sprint's board is not commenting publicly on the reason for Esrey's dismissal, but it is thought to be due to personal financial improprieties. In this era of corporate wrongdoing, we must fight for our rights as individual citizens and local communities. We must not allow Sprint to push the plan for the Burr Street cell phone tower so it can fill its corporate coffers at our expense. |
